Having made some early sales of their software product, The BOSS Total Clinical Solution, Fit for Market has provided general marketing direction and commercialisation support for the last 4 years and has become a real business partner with Core Medical Solutions. Fit for Market has also assisted the company to achieve a Federal Commercialisation Grant through AusIndustry and investor funding through a local angel investor.


Succeeding in a highly competitive market, against large international competitors, The BOSS Total Clinical Solution software is now being used by over 3000 clinicians every day to electronically order investigations, automatically be reminded of results, and view and manage all clinical aspects of their patients.


Going from strength to strength, Core Medical Solutions launched the first mobile order entry and results review software for a PDA, The BOSS Mobile, in 2004. Continuing to innovate in medical software they have also recently released:
• Multi-media record sharing – providing the ability to take a photo of a wound or input an ECG result to send to another doctor or add to the medical record.
• BOSSnet – A personal results tracking system designed for specialist wanting to review, actively manage and be reminded of results immediately from the internet.
• BOSSnet Mobile – A personal results tracking system enabling the review and active management of results instantly on any hand held Pocket PC.

The pilot phase of the Panorama Image Viewing system has now commenced.  Panorama is a digital imaging viewing system that enables the delivery and review of medical images to referrers across the internet. This technology assists medical imaging providers to deliver services to referrers more efficiently and with greater speed and accuracy, saving clinicians both time and effort.

Beacon
Beacon  is an exciting new project that in its early stage, that is designed to capture and manage clinical information at a disaster scene, providing crucial information management and decision support in the chaotic circumstances of major incidents, where casualty numbers outnumber first response resources.  The system will also provide information flow to command centres and aid in distributing casualties to hospital facilities
